Every IAZ Photo Studio quinceañera package includes a 1-hour photo session before the event, and families who are not booking event coverage can book the session on its own: Essential at $350 with 10 edited photos, Classic at $550 with 20 photos and a framed 16×20, or Signature at $750 with 30 photos and a framed 20×30. The photos are ready in about 2 weeks, in time for the invitations and the entrance slideshow.
What happens in the session
We meet at one location for an hour (1.5 hours in Signature) with the dress, the crown and, if the family wants, the court of honor. The session gives her full-length portraits with the train arranged, close portraits with the crown, a series with her bouquet or her last doll, and family portraits with her parents and padrinos. You see every available photo in the online gallery and download the ones your package includes; each delivered photo is edited by hand.
Where to take quinceañera portraits in and near Scottsdale
- Old Town Scottsdale, for brick storefronts, patios and string lights.
- The Scottsdale Waterfront, for the canal and the city behind her.
- Pinnacle Peak Park and the McDowell Sonoran Preserve, which require a photography permit; see the city's Pinnacle Peak Park permit page (opens in a new tab). We check the permit before the date.
- The church or the hall, on the day of the party, when the family prefers one location.
There is no travel fee within 25 driving miles of Tempe, Arizona (I-10 and US-60); farther out, we quote the travel before you book. A session with more than one location stays within 5 driving miles of the spot where it starts.
Session packages when booked without event coverage
A non-refundable $150 deposit reserves the session and is applied to the package. The balance is due 48 hours before the session. An adult must be present with anyone under 18.

Session booking terms
- Reschedule with at least 72 hours' notice; the deposit transfers to one rescheduled session within 30 days.
- Weather rescheduling has no fee. Cancellations forfeit the deposit.
- Usual turnaround: 2 weeks. Rush delivery within 48 hours: $100.
- Permits, admission fees and extra travel are not included.

Should the session be weeks before the party?
Four to eight weeks before, so the photos are ready for the invitations and for the slideshow at the reception.
Can her court of honor come to the session?
Yes. The hour covers her portraits first and then the groups with the chambelanes and damas; tell us how many so we plan the time.
Can we get all the session photos?
Yes. All deliverable photos from a session start at $250 on top of the package.
Is the session the same as the one in the event packages?
Yes. The event packages include this 1-hour session; booking it alone is for families who have other plans for the party.
